Cargill Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Hull, United Kingdom

Mechanical Technician

We currently have an opportunity at our Hull site for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for both the planned and reactive maintenance of the site’s process plant and services, including preparation of equipment for third party inspection, pump overhauls, pipework installation and troubleshooting. The position will be on days, however a willingness to occasionally provide cover for a five-shift system is required.

Hours : Mon - Thurs 8am - 4:15pm , 8am - 2:30pm Fri

Essentials:

  • You will have served a recognised mechanical apprenticeship and achieved a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent

  • You will have a good knowledge of mechanical maintenance

  • Previous experience working in the process / chemical industry

  • Good awareness / knowledge of health and safety on a manufacturing site

Desirables

  • City & Guilds ONC

  • Lifting and slinging experience

  • Pipe fitting experience
