Alaant Technical Calibration Engineer in Houston, Texas
Alaant Workforce Solutions has an exciting direct-hire opportunity for an International Calibration Company based out of Georgia. This is a remote opportunity that does require travel to client sites. You’ll be training and educating clients on calibration equipment, systems, and processes. Additionally, you will be a subject matter expert assisting in the sales process as needed. Hours and Benefits for the Technical Calibration Engineer:
Monday – Friday
$65,000-75,000/year

Responsibilities for the Technical Calibration Engineer:
Travel to client sites in the US and Latin America to educate and train on calibration equipment and systems, tailoring training to the needs of the customer and industry
Continuously build relationships with customers to represent the business in the highest regard
Be a subject matter expert on calibration equipment and support salespeople with educating prospective clients on the technical capacity and capabilities of the equipment
Remotely connect with clients to assist with needs, troubleshoot issues with systems, and act as a guide to clients
Ensure training and information are up to date, meeting standards
Requirements for the Technical Calibration Engineer:
Associates degree or equivalent degree from a two-year college or technical school
Ability to travel 50%+ of the time
Calibration knowledge of Pressure, Electrical, Temperature instruments for Process Industries (Pharma, Power & Energy, Oil & Gas, etc..).
Demonstrated passion for technology and enjoy working within the core market sectors of Oil and Gas, Petro-Chemical, Energy, Food and Beverage, and Pharmaceutical processing.
