This HPE Master Data Management Solution lead position is critical to support HPE Material Master Centre of Excellence. One of the major responsibility is to govern S4 Material Master data field values and their complex relationships. Proactively identify discrepancies based on the field relationships. Ability to provide consultancy to various work streams to solve critical issues related to Material Master. Responsibilities:

  • Define/Maintain Material Master data governance roles & responsibilities

  • Collaborate with MM Data Owners, Data Architects and Data Stewards

  • Promote and enforce MM policies and standards

  • Define/Maintain MM data governance processes, procedures and metrics

  • Deliver of SAP S4 MM training to the operations teams

  • Grow the SAP S4 MM knowledge base within the operations teams

  • Maintain SAP S4 MM solution training courses and materials

  • Maintain central repository of SAP S4 MM solution training documentation

  • Evolve/enhance SAP S4 MDM/MDG system capabilities in support of MM

  • Communicate/share information regarding the SAP S4 MM solution to the stakeholder community

  • Drive enterprise approach to MM problem solving and capability development with the business functions

  • Identify opportunities to bring in efficiencies and enable solutions in a proactive manner.

  • Represent PDM/MDM function in Master Data council / forums and driving the policies, standards, governance structure etc.

  • Provide domain-specific expertise and overall product engineering leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.

  • Drive innovation and integration of new technologies. Quality initiatives into projects and activities in the engineering organization.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong IT Product knowledge to manage Material Master, Bill of Material, Engineering changes, product lifecycle, All data fields across quote to cash cycle.

  • Knowledge in Supply Chain function, Sales Operation and Order Management.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with business functions in understanding the E2E order flow and investigating the root cause of failure and providing corrective & preventive actions.

  • Extensive experience with using engineering tools and software packages to design, test and evaluate products for automations.

  • Program Management skills to coordinate with governance teams

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Graduate in Engineering, Information technology, electronics engineering, Industrial engineering. Post graduate preferred

  • SAP S4 certification

  • 15 years of Material master management in SAP environment, at least 2 years in S4.

  • Should have worked in implementing SAP in supply chain functions

  • Consulting experience

  • Communications at executive levels

  • Project management

U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident (green card holder) required.
