Position Title: Adjunct Faculty, Anthropology School/Division: Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences-Social Science Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time Description: The Department of Anthropology ( https://www.hofstra.edu/anthropology/ ) of Hofstra University invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach Cultural Anthropology courses on a semester-by-semester basis. Responsibilities include: · Teach undergraduate courses in Cultural Anthropology and Gender and Sexuality · Typically teach one to two courses per semester. Qualifications: · Master's degree required · Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusive in an educational environment. Preferred Qualifications: · Experience teaching introductory Cultural Anthropology and Gender and Sexuality · Demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.
