We are currently hiring a Marketing Data Analyst based in our Head Office in Burnaby .
Please note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (3 Days Remote / 2 Days On Site) . Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.
We’re seeking a Marketing Data Analyst with strong critical thinking skills and expertise to join our Digital Engagement team. This team drives a data-driven, customer-obsessed culture at BCAA by delivering meaningful insights, trends, and predictive analyses that inform marketing strategies and enhance customer experiences. Your work will enable BCAA to optimize marketing investments and deliver measurable value.
In this role, you will collaborate with Marketing (web, email, social, consumer), IT, Product Management, and Customer Experience teams to develop and manage dashboards that track performance against key KPIs. Beyond building dashboards in Tableau, you will help optimize campaigns, generate deployment lists, and support the evolution of BCAA’s targeting strategies.

What you’ll do:
Analyze marketing data to identify trends, measure campaign performance, and uncover actionable insights to improve marketing strategies.
Develop and maintain reporting dashboards that track key marketing metrics and provide visibility into campaign effectiveness.
Collaborate with the marketing team to assess the success of initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Create and manage campaign deployment lists, ensuring accurate targeting and alignment with marketing goals.
Support the development and evolution of segmentation and targeting strategies to enhance customer personalization efforts.
Work with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Financial Services Cloud to manage campaign data, ensure data integration, and improve customer engagement.
Conduct post-campaign analyses, preparing detailed reports and presenting recommendations to improve future performance.
Proactively identify opportunities to streamline data processes, improve automation, and enhance reporting efficiency.
Provide training and guidance to team members on using dashboards and interpreting data insights to drive better decision-making.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of experience in marketing analytics or business intelligence.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Knowledge of SQL and database management tools, including experience with Amazon Redshift for database modeling.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Financial Services Cloud, with a strong understanding of their applications in data integration and campaign management.
Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Bonus skills and experience!
Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools.
Experience working in the insurance or financial services industry.

The salary range for this position is $88,530.00 to $110,662.44 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
