Omnicare Pharmacy is looking for a full-time pharmacy delivery technician to work as a part of the pharmacy delivery dispensing team. Applicants will be required to assist in the dispatching and office process. In addition to career growth, other benefits offered include:- Competitive pay and benefits- Paid training, including a state approved Pharmacy Technician in Training Program- Fast track career progression- Employee discount programs As a Pharmacy Delivery Technician at Omnicare Pharmacy, you will:- Work in an environment where the highest professional and ethical standards are maintained as well as full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.- Work in a fast-paced environment which demonstrates compassionate, genuine care for patients and customers- Take important steps to ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients with all colleagues demonstrating ethical conduct and maintaining continual patient confidentiality.- Work with pharmacy colleagues to ensure each delivery leaves the pharmacy at the appropriate time to ensure the medication is delivered to designated location in a timely manner. - Transport and deliver medication, items, and equipment to patients in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss - Maintain delivery log of activities per policy and procedure, which include checking and/or logging recipient identification - Report status and any problems to pharmacy management - Maintain company cars by cleaning inside and out, fueling, and reporting any mechanical issues immediately to management- Maintain Medication and Treatment Carts by cleaning and performing minor repairs- Limited delivery personnel may be instructed on major repairs to the medication and treatment carts- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work under limited supervision - Navigate their routes using basic internet map programs such as Google Maps or Map QuestWorkstations include:- Staging- Receiving- Non-Sterile Compounding- Automation- Delivery- Performing other duties as assignedThis is a full-time position (5 shifts per week) with rotating weekends, with exceptions based on the needs of the pharmacy operation and resident health and safety.
- Valid Driver’s license- No prior experience is required. Will complete intensive on-the-job training.- Ability to perform mathematical skills.- Ability to alphabetize medication stock bottles and finish prescriptions for delivery.- Ability to acquire basic knowledge of medications as it relates to the role of a pharmacy technician.- Must be able to follow directions and reproduce a final product with a minimum level of speed and accuracy.- Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours.- Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds- Successfully complete a background check and drug screen
COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Prior long-term health care experience
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required
