CVS Health Software Development Engineer in Hartford, Connecticut

Job Description

CVS Healthcare is looking for hands-on, passionate, driven people who want to join a high energy and growing team to make a difference in customers’ lives and who want to be on the forefront of digital innovation that aims to reinvent what a pharmacy and a health care company can be in the digital world.As a Software Development Engineer, you will use your experience in working on building identity, authentication and federation applications using the latest cloud technologies and development methodologies. As part of the Enterprise Digital, you will be part of team in designing and developing applications/pipelines for Aetna identity management domain, suchas Microservices, Docker/ Containers & CI/CD in cloud native environments. You will work on cutting-edge applications and products. Brainstorming with architects, product managers, data scientists and fellow engineers to build data products used improve the health outcomes of millions of people. You will be working as a member of one of our scrum teams in USA.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development in enterprise/ web/ cloud applications• 3+ years of experience with Java• 1+ years of experience with React JS • 3+ years of experience with building APIs and services using REST• 3+ years of experience with build automation technologies like Maven/ Gradle, Jenkins, etc.• 3+ years of experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.• Working knowledge with functional, imperative, and object-oriented languages and methodologies• We run a multi-cloud platform and containerize applications. You should have good experience of how to build, test, and deploy code to run on cloud infrastructure• Working knowledge with functional, imperative, and object-oriented languages and methodologies• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.• Exposure to product/services development public cloud environment like, AWS/GCP/Azure• Experience in as full stack developer including UI artifacts and backend services/microservices

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
