As part of technology team, the Senior Manager QA Engineer will plan, manage, and execute delivery of QA tasks in adherence to the Agile guidelines to provide efficiencies and quality products on time to our end customer. The right candidate will define, develop, maintain, and execute test scripts on time and escalate issues and risks as appropriate to ensure project stays on track. This position will work in the Aetna Enterprise Integrations team. The Senior Manager QA Engineer will utilize tools and methodologies to improve individual/team effectiveness and to increase efficiencies in the QA process.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for defect ownership, tracking from identification to closure through the delivery phases

• Perform QA and Business Analysis role, by participating, providing input during requirements and specification walkthroughs

• Contributing to the development of the test plan, assisting in the preparation of test estimates and project schedules

• Actively participates in meetings to address research options and define best approach

• Ensures the product testing is complete and of high quality prior to sign off.

• Provides cross training of application/technical knowledge to other individuals within the team

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as QA lead and business analyst

• 3+ years experience with software project life cycles

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and support multiple projects, releases simultaneously.

• Experience with test tools, change management tools and test case generation techniques.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)​

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$124,372.50 - $247,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
