CVS Health Program Management Advisor in Hartford, Connecticut

Job Description

  • Collaborate with Business Intake lead to understand the intake content, status and next steps as to where the the intakes are in the business process up front vetting to determine when to engage I.T.* Engage I.T. in the review and estimation process. Follow the business intake review meetings with any action items and follow-ups to complete sizing.* Work with the I.T. team to document the estimates in the powerpoint template and document sizing in the intake itself. (consolidate into one powerpoint when ATV, MC and/CEC are impacted.* Document the intake with trains impacted and any other pertinent I.T. information including notes, clarifications, etc.* Facilitate meetings as needed for discovery or I.T. team engagement.* Create reports and a dashboard (using various tools) to communicate with impact to various levels of the organization; exec summary and program/train leads etc.* Update or create notifications in Quickbase as needed* Facilitate and manage the content and material for the Intake Leadership meeting.* Clinical Contact for MNG ROM (sizing meetings) Sessions * Attend Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) Sessions to understand their work requests, * Work with Clinical management / Sizing team to size* Respond to the Medicare Next Gen team with the Clinical directional estimates.* Document and review at Intake Leadership meeting (or appropriate forum thereof) * Provide continuous improvement in the Intake / Scope Management process* Work with business and I.T. managers to identify opportunities to improve the dashboard and management / leadership readouts* Partner with RTE’s and leads to prepare for PI planning and reconcile results (scope decisions) such that all incoming new work request can be evaluated against the one scope list for prioritization.

Required Qualifications

  • Project Manager with 5-7 years PM experience* Ability to understand the business request, clinical business impact and I.T. estimates and then summarize into an executive summary

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Build effective relationships with business partner and I.T. team* Experience or self starter in PM tools, Excel and MS office; Powerpoint for effective communication * Experience with business developed applications * Self starter in learning Quickbase for business developed scope / management tool* Knowledgeable in using Rally* Experience with estimating business needs at a high level to allow business to make funding and business priority decisionsKnowledge in the following types of technical platforms including o third party hosted applications, o applications that leverage the cloud, o Hadoop/Big Data, o API’s and contracts thereofo Utilization Management / Care Management o EDI standard transaction / HIEo UI/UX

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
