U.S. Bank Immigration Paralegal - Remote in Hartford, Connecticut

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

Facilitate the preparation of employment-based non-immigrant visa petitions and green card applications with outside counsel; manage a high volume of PERM Labor Certification applications; provide instruction to and answer questions from sponsored employees, HR representatives and hiring managers; assist with case tracking and reporting; evaluate immigration issues for escalation as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Five to seven years of experience in legal documentation activities

Preferred Skills/Experience

-Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background preferred

minimum of 4 years of paralegal experience in employment-based immigration required, including with PERMs, I-140s, I-485s, and H-1Bs

  • In-depth knowledge of employment-based immigration law; accuracy and attention to detail; strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong experience with PERM applications preferred

  • Must display excellent follow-through on projects where input from a variety of parties requires monitoring and follow-up until completion

  • Must be a team player, prioritize well, meet deadlines and handle multiple high-priority tasks concurrently

  • Must be flexible, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and be interested in continually learning and applying new tools and approaches INDMO

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $27.50 - $36.63 - $40.30
