Position Summary It's a new day in health care! Combining Aetna and CVS Health was a transformative moment for our company and our industry, establishing CVS Health as the nation’s premier health innovation company. Through our health services, insurance plans, and community pharmacists we are pioneering a bold new approach to total health. CVS Health Digital aims to transform health and wellness via products that enable consumer engagement and a best-in-class experience. This team is responsible for Aetna's digital strategy and all digital products, as well as the development road map and execution of the roadmap. A key part of this team is to build an integrated platform and underlying products that drive digital as the starting place for our member interactions. CVS Health is taking on a major initiative to redesign and rebuild many of its customer facing digital assets. This effort will include a completely new approach to developing software within Aetna, using the latest design approaches, technologies, and processes. As a Product Owner, you will directly impact a large scope of functionality, ensuring members can successfully complete self-service tasks, such as finding the right, In-Network care and understanding costs. Your work will directly impact the CVS digital first goals and contribute to an overall reduction in calls for routine inquires. To achieve this, you will be responsible for creating a member self-service digital end to end journey that is easy, transparent, and cohesive.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage business requirements of the product to maximize value, translate business requirements into technical requirements.

  • Work with Engineers and architecture to ensure that feature requests are captured correctly and accurately, which includes technical scope support.

  • Act as the bridge between the business and Engineering/Architecture teams, resolve any confusion, advise on key decisions.

  • Work alongside the team to develop the long-term strategic product roadmap.

  • Collaborate with individuals across the organization (including architects, security, quality engineers and others) to ensure product objectives are met.

  • Work within the team on prioritization of the product backlog and the status of development efforts via system demos, drive Agile ceremonies and participate in technical discussions/solutioning sessions to collaboratively determine the correct path forward for the product.

  • Proactively work with architecture to ensure that solutions being developed now will continue to be extended and improved in the future.

  • Provide guidance and clarity to internal teams related to business requirements.

  • Promote and drive Agile development methodology to help direct, motivate and guide the Agile delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Product Owner, or Product Manager.

  • 3+ years of experience in managing teams and multiple projects, specifically those in a complex organization and spanning multiple planning iterations.

  • 3+ years of Agile experience

  • 2+ years of experience working with common workflow tools (e.g., Rally, Jira).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Digital Healthcare experience

  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams such as, Engineering and Architecture for business requirements gathering.

  • Good business acumen skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree from accredited University or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$97,335.00 - $201,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
