Job Summary:

The Application Leader - Manufacturing will have overall responsibility for system operations (Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules) to drive best in class design through innovative solutions for in scope applications and execution of the strategic application roadmap for the platform. Drive innovative design to delight customers and efficient processing architecture to enable maximum system uptime and timely, accurate processing of system functionality.

This role is virtual and can be filled remote anywhere in the United States or Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • For in scope applications, provide Subject Matter Expertise guidance for Business Partners, Enterprise Applications partners including and Trane Technologies & Wipro Ops Leads

  • Act as business partner for resources at an equivalent level for SBU IT and related function business partners.

  • Act as a solution architect and partner with Enterprise Apps and Enterprise Architecture for new solutions, system improvements.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the application roadmap to build the technology strategy with a cloud first mentality.

  • Build strong relationships with the key functional leaders and vendors to align IT system operations delivery with business strategy.

  • Ensure adherence to standards for break/fix, enhancements, and projects including functional design sign off (MD50)

  • Support continuous delivery including incrementally developing, testing, and releasing functionality.

  • Review and approve test plans with business process owner (what is being tested; regression testing; left/right testing)

  • Contribute to Gate 0-1 content build for projects related to in scope applications

  • Ensure compliance to policies in all IT solutions and processes for applications in scope

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of IT operation support and strategic road map execution.

  • 7+ years functional experience in ERP Systems / Manufacturing modules, preferably Oracle R12.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or similar focus. Master’s degree in same areas is a bonus.

Other Relevant Experience:

  • Experience leading diverse, global teams either directly or indirectly.

  • Experience overseeing delivery of application support

  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders.

  • Experience managing or overseeing IT projects.

  • Experience with business change with transformative technologies.

Key Competencies:

  • Motivational thought leader, driven, and possesses strong business acumen, coupled with expert working knowledge of in scope applications and associated components (infrastructure, middleware, data warehouse).

  • 5-10 years of support and/or implementation experience with applications (on prem, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS)

  • Third party management experience with strong knowledge of roles/responsibilities to drive maximum business benefit.

  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills applied across matrixed internal and external teams.

  • Ability to assess current state application framework, assess business needs (current and future), and drive effective and efficient processing via the in-scope applications.

  • Strong communications skills and a demonstrated ability to gather facts and deliver succinct, sometimes complex, messages to business stakeholders and IT partners.

Base Compensation Range is $68,000 - $140,000 annually.
