Assistant Information Technology Manager - ASSIS09166 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:TransCore, (TRN) a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking a full-time Assistant Information Technology Manager to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. Job Summary: Assists and provides hands-on-support for all IT Operations, including security, infrastructure, and connectivity, at the E-ZPass Customer Service Center located at 300 East Park Drive in Harrisburg. Supervises data operations, computer networks, hardware, software, and support of computer user's activities. Oversees hardware and server upgrades, patches, virus detection, and backups. Mentors, trains, and supervise IT staff. Interfaces with department managers with regard to system needs and budget purchases. Ensures that staff and computer users are complying with vendor software license agreements, PCI, and SOX requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Assists and provides hand-on support for all IT Operations andndash; Security, Infrastructure, Connectivity and Staffing* Supervises IT Staff. Assists IT Manager with interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.* Contributes to the planning and implementation of data networks and call center technology.* Shares responsibility for continual compliance andndash; PCI-DSS Level1 and SOC1* Assists with IT security assessments (risk assessment, pen testing, vulnerability scans).* Assists with maintaining all IT policy, procedure, and standards documentation.* Responsible to maintain and test Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans.* Ensure IT system availability, performance and support 24x7x365.* Monitors IT system performance and capacity. REQUIRED SKILLS: * Strong multitasking and ability to adapt to changes in priorities.* Excellent customer service and communication skills needed to effectively support operations. Special Qualifications: * Experience in supporting a large enterprise infrastructure and operations.
