Pearson Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in Haifa, Israel

We are focused on students as our customers, developing innovative, online, consumer-grade products and services. We aim for a global impact and launch cross platform, web and mobile systems.

While joining our team, you’ll have the opportunity to develop products and technologies that will change how people learn worldwide. You will work in a small team environment and create high scale products, mobile apps and web services for a very large user community around the world. The products you’ll work on, the code you’ll write, will be used by millions of users worldwide, immediately.

We are hiring a Senior Quality Assurance to join our growing team in Haifa. This position presents a unique opportunity to play a leading role in testing web-based applications

To be successful in this essential role you must have the desire and ability to learn new techniques and share your knowledge. You need to demonstrate a passion for quality assurance, software craftsmanship, and ability to perform in a quick-pace, agile, dynamic work environment and become a part of a very talented team

Qualifications - Skills/Knowledge/Abilities/Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in manual testing on different platforms (web, mobile, desktop).

  • Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and hands-on experience with end-to-end (E2E) testing .

  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Java, Python) and understanding of the software development lifecycle .

  • Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) for effective communication.#LI-MG1
