S&P Global Manager - Privacy and Data Governance in Gurgaon, India

The Team:

The Commercial Data team is responsible for all data related activities within the Commercial ecosystem. We drive operational efficiency by enforcing data completeness, cleanliness and governance. We provide communications, support and overview on new and updated data related processes. We also work alongside other business and system teams across the organization to drive improvements within data and data related processes.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Help the Commercial team and division to implement the Privacy by Design approach by identifying the new projects, new application onboarding and drive assessment to identify the privacy risks and set up the DSAR workflow to entertain client queries.

  • Developing an overall data governance framework for commercial space by creating data catalogs and lineages.

  • Strategize on improving the DSAR workflow with a focus on streamlining and automating process to save time and effort.

  • Create Commercial Privacy awareness through Office Hours Forums, Newsletters and providing privacy guidance and support for the Commercial Projects

  • Handle the privacy queries from the Commercial teams and work with the Corporate Privacy team to get the response/solutions in a timely manner

  • Maintain Privacy Knowledgebase and make sure Commercial team access and leverage to raise privacy awareness.

  • Periodical review with the Compliance, GDPR, OFAC, sanctioned countries and General counsel on list of countries or entities.

  • Collaborating with all the teammates on team feedbacks and sharing it with leaders. Support the team to make new initiatives, drive programs to generate better VIBE results.

  • Connect with Legal, Compliance and attend the monthly privacy call and ready to share the knowledge around Commercial teams

What We are looking for:

Required Skills:

  • Adoption and implementation of data governance framework

  • Well versed with compliance and privacy concepts

  • Salesforce, Marketo, Cvent, commercial platforms and One trust (preferable)

  • Project management

  • Stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Ability to work in an agile environment with focus on LEAN approach.

  • Analytical thinking

Preferred Skills:

Certifications (preferable):

  • Knowledge on data taxonomy (preferable)

  • CIPM

  • Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP)

  • Data Governance and Stewardship Professional

  • Certified Data Governance Practitioner

  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)

  • Data Governance Certified Professional (DGCP)
