The Accelerateprogram offers a comprehensive journey for new graduates, combining rotational assignments with the opportunity for personal and professional growth.In this role, youwill join a fast-paced, client-centric, and collaborative environmentwithinAgriculturethat will challenge you and provide you with opportunities to learn and grow into anAgriculturalBusiness Banker.Our 9 to 12-month rotational programprovidesthe coach-supported opportunities you need to learn, practice, and apply the skillsrequiredto excel in your assigned business line. Youwill also have access to skill-building workshops and challenging work-integrated learning opportunities that will rapidly accelerate your development!

Youwill have a dedicated Program Manager who provides individual mentorship, coaching, and development tofacilitatea smooth transition through various rotations. This tailored guidance is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and experience to embark on a successful career after the program concludes. The Accelerate program has been designed to develop better Business Bankers nationwide. While we strive to honor post-program placement preferences, all program participants must be willing to relocate within their region if required. Successful completion of the program leads to placement opportunities, which are subject to business and operational needs. This ensures that participants are well-prepared to contribute effectively wherever they are needed most.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
The ability toinitiate, develop, andmaintainproductive relationships with Canadian business partners to successfully support the teams’ business strategies andobjectives.
A thorough understanding of methods to build andmaintainan internal and external profile toidentifynew business opportunities and sustain revenue growth within a client portfolio.
The ability to conduct an effective and detailed analysis, deal structuring, credit adjudication, andpresentation of complex credit proposals, catering to both borrowing and non-borrowing clients.
Awareness of sophisticated techniques and tools to helpidentifyclient business needs and deliverappropriate solutions.
Advanced understanding ofBank lending policies and procedures, financial analysis, risk assessment techniques, collateral and security documentation and registration, collection, related legislation, and accounting practices.
In-depth knowledge of the Bank’s operating policies and procedures and understanding of how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

An undergraduate or graduate degree in Business,Economics, Finance,Agriculture,Agribusiness, or Accounting.
A genuine interest and passion forAgriculture.

High levelof financial literacy with an understanding of financial statements, credit terms, conditions, and sales.
Natural curiosity and passion for analytics and problem-solving.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively and efficiently.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating professional credit responses, presentations, and correspondence.
