Job Description

Position Title: (Sr.) MSL (高级)医学沟通专员

Division: Medical Affairs

Entity: Shire China

Location: Nanjing/Hangzhou/Guangzhou/Chengdu/Beijing

Report to: CML (Country Medical Lead)

Main Responsibilities:

Enhance local data and knowledge growth and product life-cycle management from medical perspective to further optimize the long-term development,

Grow proactively local data/knowledge for product development and clinical practice

Develop medical strategy and related plan for supporting product development

Align with cross functions including marketing to develop product research strategy

Evaluate and review external clinical study proposal on its scientific soundness

Evaluate new products/indications/trials/programs to support business development.

Provide medical contribution to the business decision and the actual operation,

Provide medical advice to product strategy and key tactics together with BU partners

Provide medical support (topic/outline, KOLs, etc.) on key brand activities

Provide medical training on medical scientific topics related with the business

Provide medical advice to business partners on key issues related with the product

Provide medical review and advice to ensure the high quality of promotion materials

Collect field medical insight and share with business partners

Provide the training for field commercial team

Build strategic relationship with 5Ps (Professional, provider, patient, policy maker, Payer)

Keep peer-to-peer medical communication with 5Ps by various approaches

Design and implement the medical scientific educational programs for 5Ps

Cooperation with local 5Ps on medical projects, e.g., guidelines, research

Obtain advices/insights from 5Ps for the product strategy optimization

Provide medical advice, as an expert from the company, to 5Ps on the product

Provide medical scientific response to 5Ps on the product-related query

Provide medical contribution to Drug Registration and Drug Safety Activities

Provide timely medical review and approval of local product labeling

Provide medical advice to the registration strategy and activities, as needed

Develop medical justification to support handling the related queries by the authority

Provide medical consultation to drug safety officer to answer the safety query

Provide medical advice in safety events management to diminish the negative impact

Support Central MA projects (20%)

As project leader for central MA projects, clear strategic thinking to design the project, manage the project progress and measure the project outcome.

Leverage internal and external resource for the project security and quality

Out of box thinking to collaborate with cross-function team

Requirements:

Education: Master degree or above in clinical medicine, Major in Hematology could be preferred Experience:

5 years above of clinical practice experience in medical affairs experience in multinational pharmaceutical companies. Hematology background could be preferred

Has the influence power in the KOLs

Basic skills: Fluent in spoken and written English and experienced in office soft wares Soft skills:

Learning and self-training ability

Good communication skills and customer focus with strong influence power in KOLs

Proactive planning and result oriented, with good teamwork
