THIS IS A 10 MONTH POSITION - SCHEDULE IS BASED ONTHE SCHOOL CALENDAR
This posting will be used to fill Two (2) identical vacant positions.
Job classification (Arts Education Teacher 2-10) and salary will be determined based on the selected applicant's experience and degree.

Perpich High School is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide temporary instructional support in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This role involves implementing lesson plans, maintaining classroom management, and fostering a positive student learning environment. The Substitute Teacher is responsible for following established curriculum guidelines, addressing students’ educational needs, and upholding school policies to ensure continuity in the learning process.
Minimum Qualifications
A valid Minnesota Short Call Substitute or Teaching License is required.
Classroom management and organization skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Positive interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to students, parents, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
Experience and proficiency in the implementation of current best practices and strategies in instruction and learning.
Knowledge of relevant learning technology and proficiency in its use (i.e. Smart board technology, MS Office Suite, Google applications, spreadsheets).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with high school students.
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate must pass reference checks and criminal history check.
