Honeywell Facility Security Officer in Golden Valley, Minnesota

At Honeywell Aerospace Advanced Connected Sustainability Technologies (ACST), our outstanding team of scientists, engineers, and professionals develop groundbreaking technology by applying their expertise in complex hardware and software control systems, physics, ultra-high vacuum environments, cryogenics, cyber security, and others.

Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Facility Security Officer for our Golden Valley, Minnesota location.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

•Providing oversight, policy, and procedure development, and related functions in compliance with applicable security directives (i.e., 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Rule)

•Establishing a security education program to include briefings, materials, and ensuring cleared personnel complete their required training

•Ensuring all facets of security meet government requirements and company policy

•Maintaining positive security posture for Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) audit readiness

•Document control and classification management to include shipping and receiving of packages/hardware

•Conducting security incident investigations, reporting adverse information, and preparing any required reports for government agencies

•Support programs as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) as needed

•Act as the Communications Security (COMSEC) custodian

MUST HAVE:

•U.S. Citizenship to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

•High School Diploma or GED

•Minimum one year of experience with industrial security

WE VALUE:

•Active Top-Secret clearance

•Completion of Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) course: FSO Program Management for Non-Possessing Facilities or Possessing Facilities (If not currently possessing, candidate must complete within 6 months of hire)

•COMSEC custodian experience

•Familiarity with:

o NISPOM and Overprint o 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule o Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) series manuals o Defense Information System for Security (DISS)

•Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of leadership

•Superior organizational/task prioritization skills
