To provide oversight of the Media Arts Equipment Room. This role is essential in maintaining, organizing, and facilitating the use of audio-visual equipment for students, faculty, and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media arts technology, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for supporting creative projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate Degree or equivalent education in media arts, audiovisual technology, IT, or related field OR a combination of education and relevant experience.
At least one year of experience managing audiovisual equipment, including inventory management, technical support, and equipment check-out/return processes.
Experience in training or instructing others on equipment usage.
Experience in customer service and technical support.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working with high school students and teachers.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and set up audiovisual equipment as needed for events and projects.
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate must pass reference checks and criminal history check.
