LSEG Analytics Sales Specialist in Getzville, New York

The Analytics Sales specialist team is primarily responsible for sales strategy, execution, and business development across the analytics product set. This team is responsible for increasing revenues for the group by setting and achieving aggressive sales goals through active prospecting, identifying new business opportunities, as well as working with existing clients and relationship management to upsell and cross-sell additional analytics products and services

Key responsibilities of the role:

Delivery of revenue goals through sales growth, cross selling and commercial policy developments

Accurately and consistently build and manage your sales pipeline to ensure quarterly and annual revenue attainment

Originate and execute sales campaigns and partner with product marketing to generate new leads, build pipeline, and effectively prospect for new business

Execution of go to market plans as well as increasing brand and product awareness through events, webinars, outreach.

Contribution to product, relationship and marketing strategies as well as commercial policies in all related business areas

Work closely with analytics solutions, product management, and marketing teams to ensure market intelligence, competitor analysis and market trends / conditions are gathered and monitored

Key behaviours and skills required to be successful in the role:

At least 3 years of experience owning and exceeding sales targets and selling into and or/acquiring new logos in the financial industry (asset managers, banks, broker dealers, hedge funds)

Demonstrated expertise with some or all of the following: risk management or portfolio management analytics, valuation, structured finance, fixed income trading platforms, RMBS, CLOs

Software skills - Proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint is mandatory. Prior Yield Book experience highly preferred.

Proven communicator comfortable running discussions and building relationships with various stakeholders at financial institutions

Some travel required 25%
