CVS Health Asset Protection Supervisor in Fredericksburg, Virginia

Job Description

Would you like to join Fortune 4 CVS Health and ourdynamic Asset Protection team? As a Distribution CenterAsset Protection Supervisor you will help with thedevelopment and implementation of various LossPrevention policies and programs designed to safeguard personnel, property, merchandise, facilities and other assets. In addition, this position is responsible for the development and implementation of safety policies and programs designed to provide a safe environment for all employees. The development, coordination and communication of Loss Prevention and Safety carried out with a global perspective conducive to CVS operating philosophy. Ensure the adherence to Loss Prevention policy and procedure relating to distribution safety and loss control.Responsibilities:Help the DC AP Manager oversee inventory results and root cause impact on store load credit for front storeUnderstand and solve for RX gain/expense• Help support, coordinate (in conjunction with DCHelp management) and control activities relating to assetprotection and loss containment.• Help support and promote employee safety awareness to include, but not limited to, accident prevention, employee awareness and education, safety incentives and housekeeping/sanitation programs that are in accordance with established company guidelines.• Help support the quality control and assumed receiptsprogram.• Conduct investigations and interview personnel involvedin actual or suspected theft or other criminal acts.• Supervise uniform contract guard service.• Maintain and monitor burglar and fire alarm systems.• Review personnel, visitor and contractor logs daily toensure compliance with identification badge and sign inand out procedures.• Administer and Help support lock and key control systemsand investigate loss or theft of assigned keys.• Help support the Safety Incentive and Alternate DutyPrograms within the facility.• Maintain record of lost time injuries and meet regularlywith insurance carrier to review worker’s compensationcases.• Conduct orientations for new hires and provide trainingand education to employees on Asset Protection andSafetyprograms and procedures.• Help to establish and maintain effective relationships with Store Operations, Legal, Purchasing, General Accounting, Loss Prevention, and Safety Programs and procedures.• Administer company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.• Establish and maintain effective relationships with allwarehouse departments and promote teamwork within thefacility.• Actively support and participate in company sponsoredprograms and events, task force groups and serve aschairperson of various committees, if needed.• Continually review, analyze and evaluate the adequacyand effectiveness of protection policies and procedureswithin the DC.• Help support the execution of capital and expense purchaseswithin budgetary guidelines.• Participate in or take direct accountability for otherduties/activities as directed/requested by upperHelp support.• Ability to work in seasonally warm and cool workenvironment.• Good analytical and interpersonal skills.• Ability to effectively interface with other distribution centeremployees, supervisors, and Help support.• Ability to conduct several tasks at one time is essential.• Perform other related duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience coaching, training, and developing of staff• 3+ years of experience conducting legal andethical interviews and investigations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Loss Prevention experience within a distribution centerenvironment * LP Qualified (LPQ) or LP Certified (LPC) certifications* Understanding of Government Regulatory expectations(OSHA,DEP, FDA)


High school diploma/GED required.Bachelor’s degree preferred.
