Job Description

Bose Corporation is seeking a talented Intern/Co-op student engineer to join the Global R&D Consumer SE&A team. You’ll be a part of a passionate team with a history of creating embedded platforms that support the development of innovative headphones, speakers, and audio for video products. You will help to prototype and test embedded systems and associated tools/techniques that can have a lasting impact.

Various project opportunities are available ranging from developing power measurement techniques for small embedded systems, implementing a hardware in the loop testing approach using an FPGA combined with high-speed analog converters, and/or utilizing Matlab/Simulink to target audio processing DSP’s. We are looking for an intern/coop that has interest and skills that apply and/or map to one of the above projects.

A successful candidate can demonstrate solid engineering fundamentals, intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to learn and build.

Required Skills and Experience:

A firm grasp of engineering fundamentals The interest and ability to design, build and program prototype embedded systems A keen sense of curiosity and the desire to understand Using Matlab and IDE systems that target small micro-controllers, DSPs, or FPGAs. Basic electrical lab experience such as the use of oscilloscopes and other test equipment. Basic FW coding and/or FPGA targeting experience.

Education: Enrolled in a 4 or 5-year electrical engineering program
