The Senior Internal Communications Business Partner plays a key role in building and executing internal communications (IC) strategies and programs that engage, inspire and empower Bose employees around the world. In partnership with the Global Head of Internal Communications, the Sr. IC Business Partner supports the development of global IC strategy and planning, serves as strategic consultant to executives and key internal clients, supports the ongoing development of global IC structure, governance, policies and tools, and coordinates the execution of the global IC strategy across the company’s key business units and regions in partnership with regional IC leads. Additionally, the Sr. IC Business Partner leads and oversees change communication initiatives that enable Bose to successfully implement strategic transformations and drive business outcomes.

The role requires a proactive individual who is highly organized and thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Main responsibilities :

  • Support the Global Head of Internal Communications in the development of enterprise-wide Internal Communications (IC) strategy and planning to engage, inspire and empower Bose employees around the world.

  • Lead the design and execution of strategic IC, employee engagement programs, campaigns and events.

  • Develop and manage change communication strategies that enable Bose to successfully implement key transformation initiatives

  • Advise executives, global function leads and other key internal communicators on IC strategy, recommending and facilitating the best communications approach, messaging channels and tools to support their strategic priorities and programs.

  • Support the development and ongoing management of enterprise-wide IC governance, policies and tools, including a global IC calendar.

  • Coordinate IC execution across key regions in partnership with IC regional leads.

  • Benchmark IC strategy and tactics to stay ahead of trends and drive innovation.

  • Design and execute new methodologies to track, analyze, and report on key IC metrics and feedback.

Key competencies and experiences we are looking for

  • Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.

  • Strategic, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.

  • A college degree in communications, marketing, journalism or similar.

  • 8+ years of experience in internal and change communications strategy development – in-house or agency.

  • A proven communicator with exceptional writing and editing skills, and attention to detail.

  • Strong campaign management and organizational capabilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute multifaceted communications strategies for complex organizations and programs.

  • Experience working with senior executives and key partners across an international organization.

  • Experience developing and generating internal communications plans that apply creative tactics using a wide variety of integrated communication channels and touchpoints, including social, digital, video and events.
