Job Description

The Bose Business Navigation team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who has a desire to learn the Service, e-Commerce, and Marketing businesses. The successful candidate will be an intellectually curious and self-motivated change agent with a bias for action. We are looking for an upbeat individual interested in applying their skills in a fast-paced, dynamic global business environment. This role will support the Senior Financial & Business Advisor of Global Consumer Marketing, Global E-Commerce & Service. This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of working 3 days in the office and from home for the remainder of the work week.

Specific responsibilities

  • Provide navigational support for the Global Service team, including being an active member of the Service leadership team, becoming a subject matter authority on financial workflows, and working with the team to develop and publish operational and financial KPIs to monitor efficiency and effectiveness of Global Contact Centers and Digital Service.

  • Provide navigational support for the Global Consumer Marketing team, including becoming a subject matter expert in the GCM forecast tool (Anaplan) and working with the team to develop and publish operational and financial KPIs to monitor efficiency and effectiveness of Bose’s marketing dollars.

  • Perform the month end close process for supported groups. Responsibilities will include journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting and standard analysis of variances to plan.

  • Work with the rest of the Global Marketing Business Navigation team to drive performance improvements in the businesses supported & within the team.

  • Perform ad hoc projects & standard work as required by the businesses.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong dedication to customers – both end consumer & internal business partners.

  • Curiosity about how each of the supported functions run currently and ability to influence change and commitment to make improvements.

  • Financially adept, but equally passionate about long-term business planning & performance.

  • Proven track record to turn data into insight & driven to become an expert in Power BI and underlying databases.

  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to work effectively across a global organization.

  • Proven ability to partner with non-financial colleagues to drive business results.

  • Desire to take on more ownership & develop additional skills as opportunities become available.

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, SAP & Business Intelligence experience a plus.

Education and Experience:

BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Management

3+ years of experience
