About the Role

Bose is currently seeking a Project Manager to support its global real estate strategy, program, and processes. The Project Manager works within the Real Estate and Workplace Services Department, which provides project planning, architectural and engineering design/coordination, construction, and project management services. Collaboration within business partners and providing a high degree of professionalism and customer service is crucial to the mission of the department. The Project Manager is responsible for managing assigned construction projects including all aspects of project management during conceptual, budget, development, planning, design, construction, close-out and warranty.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple and concurrent projects during conceptual, budget, development, planning, design, construction, close-out and warranty of major capital projects and other projects as assigned. Must have the ability to make well informed and critical decisions.

  • Responsible for overall project performance including scope, safety, quality, schedule, innovation, and costs.

  • Represent the Real Estate and Workplace Services Department to work with internal project teams (functional groups, senior leadership, business partners & clients), and external project members (architects, engineers, contractors, inspectors, local agencies, etc.) during all project phases.

  • Coordinate and integrate project meetings and activities and inform/update client/users on the status of the projects.

About You

  • Knowledge of workplace strategy, workplace technology, and familiarity with modern workplace design and construction standards.

  • High degree of initiative in managing multiple priorities simultaneously as well as being pro-active in a detail-oriented work environment utilizing sound judgment, organization abilities, and decision-making skills.

  • Knowledge of facilities management, facilities service provider networks, and working with property managers to ensure facilities are fit for purpose.

  • Effective vendor management skills including negotiation skills.

  • A Change Agent . Possess the ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances and thrive in a constantly evolving business environment. Effectively collaborates during times of change.

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of construction and/or facilities project management experience, preferably in an organization’s Real Estate/Facilities department.

  • Experience working in the Real Estate/Facilities organization of a global corporation

  • Demonstrated skill in identifying root causes of problems/issues by asking probing questions and the ability to develop recommendations for resolution.

  • Excellent oral and written communication, and excellent attention to detail.

  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
