About the Business Operations Team

The Business Operations team supports the Product and Supply Chain organization, providing leadership to the teams that deliver our new product roadmap by designing and executing solutions to critical business problems.

Bose is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee day-to-day business operations for our New Product Management functions across hardware and software. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the teams that define and scope work, prioritize high-impact initiatives, and craft compelling roadmaps that align with our commitment to delivering exceptional consumer experiences and upholding Bose's reputation for quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the program manager across key business processes for software experiences, software platforms, and hardwareproducts, leveraging project management best practices to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Enable key efficiency metrics such as accelerating time-to-market for innovation and optimizing software product quality.

  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and collaboration to ensure effective execution at later stages in the process.

  • Lead allroadmapplanning and increment pre-planning forums across key stakeholders in R&D, Insights, Marketing, and Partnerships, preparing teams with the proper templates and documentation to make the exercise efficient and effective

  • Coordinate the prioritization & documentation of roadmaps to deliver differentiated innovation.

  • Implement processes and tools to consistently gather and relay critical consumer insights to assess the health of Critical User Journeys to the Product Management team, enabling them to strategically adapt product roadmaps.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and roadblockssurrounding roadmaps, proactively addressing issues to maintainmomentum.

  • Act as an evangelist of a “Customer First, Experience-Led’ culture

  • Optimize communication flow between the Product organization and stakeholder teams.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully managing multifaceted projects involving software components. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and systems thinking skills are essential. A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences is highly desirable.

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • MBA or Master's in a technical field preferred

  • Experience in a software-driven organization

  • Hands-on experience with Jira, especially with reporting, required

  • Familiarity with Jira Align, Smartsheet, and MS Office suite preferred

  • Understanding of product management roles, processes and cross-functional collaboration

  • Strong project management and problem-solving abilities

  • Effective relationship management and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to collaboratively influence decisions across a large organization

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels

  • Customer-centric and insights-driven mindset

  • Self-driven multitasking, prioritization, and time management capabilities

  • Demonstrated willingness to challenge the status quo to drive Product and company goals
