Job Description

As the Global Amazon Search Manager, you will drive Amazon Search strategy & programs aimed at delivering increased visibility, traffic, and sales for Bose through Amazon in NA, EU and APAC. You will own the global Amazon Search strategy for Bose focused on maximizing visibility and incremental sales through a balance of organic and paid strategies. You will partner with regional Amazon Marketing leads to develop full-funnel, cross-channel marketing strategies to reach consumers across the purchase journey and deliver against business goals. You will manage agency teams to deliver Amazon Search plans to achieve strategy and meet program KPIs.

Job Accountabilities

  • Amazon Search Strategy – Develop and manage holistic Amazon Search strategy to increase Bose visibility across key categories and deliver efficient incremental sales. Own keyword strategy across markets and platforms. Set and manage program KPIs. Manage agency team to deliver plans to achieve strategy and meet program KPIs. Socialize strategy with key stakeholders to gain alignment and build activation plans. Approach strategy with global perspective, while being able to apply local nuance across NA, EU, and APAC markets

  • Paid Search – Manage paid search strategy and execution across regions. Partner with Regional Amazon Marketing leads on annual budget planning across tactics to ensure overall investment is planned to meet program objective and KPIs. Guide agency partner to develop and optimize paid search activation plans to deliver against paid search and larger program KPIs.

  • Organic Visibility/SEO – Drive SEO strategy and recommendations to increase Bose organic visibility and rank on Amazon. Partner with Amazon Content Specialist and Retail team to implement SEO optimizations on Amazon PDPs. Leverage digital shelf tools to perform analysis, gather insights and inform strategy.

  • Agency Management – Manage Amazon media agency search team to deliver on paid search program goals and KPIs. Manage day-to-day relationship with paid search team. Ensure agency deliverables meet expectations.

  • Insights, Optimization & Reporting – Partner with Agency team and Marketing Analytics team to develop program KPIs and targets for organic and paid search metrics (SOV, rank, ROAS, etc.), reporting and insights outputs, and ongoing program optimization.

  • Conduct research and audits to ensure best practices, understand the competitive landscape and uncover new opportunities.

  • Partner with Sales teams to identify category trends and leverage forecasts to inform search strategy

This is a hybrid role (3-days in office) based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Framingham MA. 20% travel required.

Required Skills and Competencies

Required Technical Skills

  • In depth understanding of digital marketing and retail ecommerce landscape and best practice, with direct experience in search marketing and Amazon advertising

  • Hands on knowledge/experience with retail ecommerce search tools and platforms – Amazon Advertising, Skai/Kenshoo, Pacvue, Criteo, CitrusAds, etc.

  • Knowledge and experience with search marketing (SEO/SEM) strategies and tactics across platforms

  • Ability to utilize analytics, business and shopper insights to drive data-driven planning & optimization

  • Experience delivering/presenting data and insights to drive business decisions

  • Awareness of competitive environment to identify opportunities

  • Analysis of digital industry trends that may impact strategy

Required Experience

  • Digital Marketing >5 years

  • Experience in Search marketing

  • Experience working with retail ecommerce strategies and driving digital campaign optimizations focused on achieving traffic and revenue targets. Preference to direct experience on Amazon.

  • Experience partnering with internal teams, managing external agencies and partners to achieve common targets

  • Strong presentation & influencing skills

  • Strong communication and relationship building experience

  • Knowledge about the CE industry a plus
