The Global Marketing team has an exciting new role in our Digital Marketing Group, leading the Global Amazon marketing team and driving the America's marketing program. The role is responsible for developing the Amazon digital marketing plans that align with Bose’s business goals and objectives. The main objective of these plans is to drive marketing effectiveness, revenue in support of sell-through results, optimizations and best practices across the regions leveraging media, search, digital merchandizing, content and data. This position will work closely with sales colleagues to execute the business strategies that have been defined to achieve sales targets. The role will be responsible for project management of activities that lead to optimization of online conversion, and developing greater efficiencies and organization for executing key projects. This will require communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams on the defined implementation, timeline and prioritization of projects, and developing the project briefs that translate the strategies and goals to online deliverables. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both overall team leadership and the Amazon America's media marketing to achieve targets and mature marketing program capabilities.

Key initiatives include:

  1. Responsible for developing the digital marketing plans specific for Amazon that align with Bose’s business goals and objectives. The main objective of these plans is to drive sell-through results, optimizations and best practices across the regions leveraging media, digital merchandizing, content and data

  2. Collaborate with marketing colleagues and business account managers to drive coordinated plans and be responsible for achieving a set of KPIs. Track and report on the execution of the plans including an annual approach, investment plan and key initiatives to senior leaders and CMO.

  3. Develop and activate quarterly learning agenda to ensure continuous test and learn that will advance capabilities, improve customer experience, and drive sell-thru.

  4. Partner with MAA to build measurement plans with defined KPIs and benchmarks. Report on marketing plan effectiveness and provide recommendations.

  5. Establish global budgets. Manage budget, invoices and PO’s for North America Amazon media & agency fees.

  6. Manage a team of 4-5 direct reports with experience in amazon, digital marketing and content.

  7. Partner with Analytics on measurement framework, KPIs, reporting and analysis including synthesis of insights from dashboards

  8. Manage external Agency team (Flywheel) and Amazon Ads team

  9. Manage Amazon budget and PO/billing processes in partnership with finance

  10. Own the marketing & media planning process for NA, and lead EU and JP region leads, working collaboratively with Amazon & Flywheel to identify mutual business drivers and execute with excellence.

  11. Identify & activate key marketing performance drivers to capture and convert demand on Amazon. Present plans to key stakeholders, as well as review performance & proposed optimizations.

  12. Leader and main POC for the Flywheel team and lead the development of AMS & DSP strategy, measurement and optimizations that improve performance on platform for North America

  13. Lead and partner with team in the development and execution of creative assets for media placements and digital merchandizing programs (Gift guides, category billboards, emails reviews, etc.).

  14. Lead digital shopper experiences for Amazon globally, including shopper navigation and conversion, to achieve business sales targets. Ensure shopper focus and insights are built into commercial plans and processes.

  15. Partner with Flywheel to develop annual content strategy with corresponding test & learn plans. Identify new beta opportunities to test new capabilities and enhancements to the Amazon.com platform and drive customer engagement and conversion.

  16. Lead content specialists on the regional content execution, testing and optimization, as well as the enrollment and execution of product reviews programs (Vine, Insiders, etc.).

CORE COMPETENCIES

  1. Strong digital marketing and media planning that is supported by data and insight.

  2. A bottom-line, results oriented business person who has an affinity for commercial acumen, numbers and metrics.

  3. Experience with developing, and executing Amazon marketing strategies

  4. Knowledge of digital marketing, digital merchandising and content strategies and best practices to develop full funnel campaigns

  5. Willingness to collaborate cross-functionally.

  6. Exercise influence at multiple levels and builds enthusiastic alignment around a plan.

  7. A strong understanding of ecommerce trends and advancements that drive traffic, and conversion.

Skills:

•Min 7 years in digital marketing

•Min 5 years developing Amazon marketing strategy and execution

-Experience leading a global team

•Experience in analytics, audience targeting, content, creative, media, search, social, etc)

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.

20- 25% travel required throughout the United States and EU

Education Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, business, communications or related discipline
