DTC Strategy Accelerator, Associate
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Strategy Accelerator Associate supports the end-to-end delivery of the Direct to Consumer channels most important commercial projects. This role will team up and collaborate with researchers, business owners and designers to bring value to market. They will oversee the comprehensive project backlog, ensure timely delivery of concurrent projects, while also shaping and delivering projects. The role will support the build out of the strategy, experience design, testing, go-to-market and launch execution -- all while keeping the customer at the center. The Strategy Accelerator Associate will bring creativity to solving problems in ways that enable rapid delivery, greater scale and mobility, while also leveraging industry best practices and customer feedback to deliver high customer and business value.
THE TEAM
The DTC Strategy Accelerator team is responsible for driving commercial value through the end-to-end delivery of projects focused on unlocking net-new growth, optimizations or efficiencies. Our fast-moving, multi-disciplinary team leads all aspects of delivery from research and design, testing and validation to launch and scale. We’re a lean but diverse team of people — in skillset and life — that are endlessly curious, tactfully rebellious, and proud over-sharers who strongly believe in progress over perfection.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy and Initiative Design
Build strategy phase plan: scope, project plans, roster, and governance
Support all aspects of phase delivery including project management, coordination, workshop facilitation and deliverable build-out
Work with key business stakeholders, designers, researchers to design all aspects of the project: awareness/media plan, offer, experience, operating model, implementation requirements, etc.
Lead project valuation including business case development in partnership with Finance organization
Own strategy recommendation and deliverable documentation; deliver leadership communications and alignment
Testing and Validation
Oversee execution of prototyping and pilot initiatives, guiding a cross-functional team on the experience design, build, and launch
Define key learning criteria in support of business case, learning plan, experience design and/or optimization, and go-to-market strategy
Lead all aspects of testing delivery including measurement and validation including refreshed business case from learnings
Build and communicate recommendations to leadership
Implementation & Execution
Support implementation plan including design, business requirements, and launch timing and dependencies
Work with key stakeholders in marketing, direct to consumer (Experience, Commercial, DevOps, etc.), IT, Finance, analytics, et al to bring initiatives to market
Oversee initiative stabilization, hyper-care and on-going optimization
Support project transition and handover to business
Hard Skills
Experience working in Direct to Consumer, Strategy and/or Management Consulting (2+ years)
Strategy development, tactics and delivery
Financial modeling and business case creation
Strong presentation creation and communication skills
Project management and initiative leadership
Familiarity with different technology platforms (e.g. Salesforce) and launching new digital capabilities
Soft Skills
