About the Role - Hybrid (Tue, Wed, Thurs)
Summary
Bose is looking to add a Senior Manager to the Corporate Tax team. Reporting to the Senior Manager Global Direct Tax, this new position will be responsible for managing US Federal and State income taxes. This individual should have 8+ years of relevant tax experience and can effectively work with cross functional teams. Excellent verbal and written communication are a must.
Key Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the accurate preparation of the US federal and state income tax provision under ASC740
Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of US federal, state, and local income tax filings
Manage all Federal and state income tax audits
Manage the calculation of US R&D tax credits and the related documentation
Manage the preparation and review of Bose’s UNICAP calculation
Prepare analysis and calculation of Federal and state uncertain tax positions
Assist the Senior Manager of Global Direct Tax in creating, testing, and documenting internal controls and tax policies as needed
Assist with implementing global tax projects/planning initiatives as requested
Other tasks as requested
About You
Professional Requirements:
8+ years of public accounting experience at a national or global firm and has reached the Senior Manager level - Required
Current CPA license - Required
Deep technical expertise in ASC 740 (US GAAP Accounting for Income Taxes) as it relates to multinational corporations
Deep technical expertise in US corporation tax law
Proficient in performing technical research and preparing audit ready documentation of conclusions reached
Experienced people manager with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior professional staff

Experience/Education
B.S. degree in Accounting required
Masters in Tax, JD, or LLM a plus
Microsoft Office Suite of products, SAP, Power BI, OneSource Tax Provision
