Job Description

This Product Management Director, Wearables category will be a customer-centric and product-loving business leader who will take Bose’s wearable category to new heights. This leader will be focused on the industry and opportunities in the market and will work closely with designers, engineering, marketing, supply chain, and sales to drive growth and contribution margin – from inception of new ideas through end-of-life products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the champion for the customer: develop a compelling wearable category strategy that delivers market-leading customer value;

  • Drive Category P&L success (category revenue and contribution margin), developing and leading the execution of plans that lead to agreed-upon growth and contribution metrics.

  • Ensure the plans and execution enable a compelling customer experience in line with the brand standards.

  • Ensure the execution of the plans meet portfolio strategic and financial goals.

  • Manage overall portfolio, product lifecycles, and pricing strategies for category

  • Leverage customer insights, usability studies, market trends, and competitive analysis to develop the vision, product roadmap & product definitions

  • Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, supply chain, and sales to identify creative solutions to difficult challenges and to reach the optimal balance between the vision of the user experience with time to market and product cost

QUALIFICATIONS

Product and Operational Management

At least 10 years of product management experience, ideally with experience in the software domain, business management, or other related experience at scale, including a successful track record of leading teams through product launches, from idea to prototype to revenue.

Team and Cross Functional Leadership

Proven leader, motivator and mentor. Entrepreneurial and unafraid to roll up sleeves.

Demonstrated experience working within a large organization and carving a unified path through collaboration in a matrixed environment.
