About the Global Sales Team

The Global Sales team connects Bose with people who share our belief that sound is the most powerful force on earth. Through collaboration with external retail partners and internal strategic partners, Sales helps deliver Bose products to people who share in our passion for sound.

About the role

The Aviation technician will perform troubleshooting, repair, and testing of aviation headsets. This critical role provides post-sale technical support services to customers, including installation, problem resolution and maintenance of aviation products and services.

Specific responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and electrical repair work on aviation or military headsets.

  • Tear down headsets for desired spare parts. Stock and replenish parts bins from bulk storage locations and cycle count inventory.

  • Perform data entry of customer headset repairs into a dedicated database.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Specific Skills

  • Possess strong troubleshooting abilities.

  • Ability to operate various test bench equipment once properly instructed Should have highly developed mechanical skills and motor dexterity.

  • Ability to answer customer phone calls effectively.

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of a 2-year technical certificate or equivalent work experience.

  • Requires at least 1 year of work experience related to the above-listed responsibilities and skills.

  • Must have keen hearing abilities to test/tune headsets.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screening tests as a regulation of the DOT/FAA.

Location

This role is 5 days a week onsite in Framingham, MA.
