What You’ll Do: As the Cage Washer you will work under direct supervision of Sodexo Lab Services. Working as a cooperative team member to sanitize and/or sterilize reusable primary and secondary animal contact items for use in species-varying animal research according to established procedures and standards.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Operate and perform preventative maintenance on tunnel and rack washer systems. Sanitize animal cage equipment.

  • Set up housing as required by the Animal Housing and Enrichment Technical Training Guideline (TTG) and/or as specifically requested by customers.

  • Utilize the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Codes and Standards related to emergency egress and corridor doors.

  • Perform minor maintenance and/or replace cage equipment including watering systems.

Min/Max Pay: $16.58 per hour - $22.39 per hour
