About the Position: Serves as the central Point of Contact for all administrative matters for the Passport Services Division (PSD) located at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Incumbent manages the overall conduct of the Passport Services Division?s administrative actions and workflow processes, ensuring that procedures meet office needs and are consistently understood and followed by the staff.
Provides training and counseling for passport/visa operations.
Provides counsel in preparation for quarterly training conferences for newly designated Passport Agents serving at installations throughout the CONUS and OCONUS.
Serves as principal passport customer service agent for the Passport Services Division.
Establishes and maintains files and records that relate to the work of Passport Services Division.
Demonstrates acceptable oral communication and writing skills with a high tolerance level for dealing with all types, levels, and temperaments of travelers, aides, peers etc.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience providing administrative support of application process and delivery of passport/visa services to military and civilian customers throughout all branches of service worldwide; conducting passport certification training; responding to inquiries and providing guidance in areas such as, travel, passports, and visas. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Management/Business Administration/International Relations/Hospitality Administration/Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
