The Capital Branch of Equitable Advisors has been a constant in the DC Metro, Maryland and Virginia communities for over 80 years. Situated in, and reflective of the communities they serve, our offices in Maryland (Columbia) and Virginia (Falls Church, Richmond, Roanoke) house over 200 Financial Professionals and Staff support members and have an additional 50 team members integrated throughout the region.

The Capital Branch is seeking a detail-oriented/multi-tasking Lead Associate, EVP Assistant in the Falls Church office. This person will report directly to the Local Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Calendaring

  • Working with advisors and staff on issue escalation

  • Creation of meeting agendas and Powerpoint presentations

  • Assist in recruiting efforts through sourcing candidates and scheduling interviews

  • Miscellaneous projects

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2 years of experience in business a plus

Preferred Qualificaitons

  • Able to work closely with both the leadership team and advisors

  • Ability to function independently and work well with a team

  • Proactive decision-making skills

  • Strong ability to collaborate

  • Strong communication skills

  • 2 years of experience in business a plus

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite

  • Required to work with confidential material – must be discreet and trustworthy
