Responsibilities

The OB/GYN Department is seeking a physician to join our Southwest Minnesota practice in Fairmont. The physician will provide medical and surgical obstetrical and gynecologic patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Practice Model:

• 50% OB, 50% GYN

• Call Schedule: Providers do share call coverage at 1 in 3 capacity. (1 weekend per 3 weeks of call). During the weekdays, the call is shared by the providers in an alternating fashion.

• The Nursery is equipped to care for newborns born after 36 weeks of gestation and is cared for by family medicine providers

• Sub-Specialty care support is available in Mayo Clinic Rochester for Complex or High Risk patients

• UROGYN and MIGS specialty support is available in the Mankato Campus

• Mankato Campus is a house for 2 Xi Da-Vinci Robotic platforms available for providers with robotic training.

Qualifications

Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Or

Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Family Medicine with OB and C-section privileges, 2 years of experience required
