Do you have a passion for developing secure and performant systems-level software? Come help us build the next generation of cloud platform security supporting internet services at Apple. We design and develop software which is foundational for some of our most important services, such as iCloud. In this role you will have the unique opportunity to participate in delivering some of the world's largest-scale cloud services.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience

• A cross-section of working experience with Java, Swift, Rust, and/or C

• Depth of networking experience

• Familiarity with design principles surrounding distributed systems

• Demonstrated skill and expertise with Unix-type operating systems

• Skilled in clear communication

Description

We are seeking an experienced services software engineer with a passion for security. Be part of a small, highly skilled team building network and security services at Apple. The team provides a secure layer underpinning consumer-facing applications. The performance and security of the systems we build are critical. We typically interface directly to low-level Linux kernel interfaces, using asynchronous I/O and threads to distribute workload.

Education & Experience

BSc in computer science or equivalent experience
