Position Overview: Our Reporting & Power BI Specialist reports directly to the Operations Manager. This position is responsible for the building of reports and analysis of the business. If you are strong with details, but you are also an out of the box thinker and like to challenge the status quo. You have excellent writing and proofreading skills.
Responsibilities
Analyze and present data through reports that aid decision-making
Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics
Configure, update, and maintain Power BI reports
Help define data model requirements
Provide end-user support (help desk)
Writing requirements documentation
Consult with Product Owners and business units to deliver new or enhanced data reporting and dashboards
Translate business requirements in a BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights
Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Bilingual language skills (English & French) are an asset but not a requirement
Minimal 1-2 years of related experience of report design/development experience
A passion for providing exceptional customer service to both our internal and external customers
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment or independently
Proficient PC and keyboarding skills (Word, Excel, Outlook/Webmail)
Technical diploma in Data Management, Visualization/Communication, or Degree in Computer Science an asset
Knowledge of Power platform operations, query, flow and BI integrations
