Reporting to the Inventory Category Manager this role contributes to the growth and profitability of The Brick Group’s business with its focus on ensuring product supply to meet forecasted demand.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and validate forecast quantities and ensure ordered quantities will support forecasted demand

  • Ensure product forecasts are provided on a timely basis and current in all applications

  • Review forecast performance and accuracy to identify options to improve forecast accuracy

  • Communicate forecasts requirements to suppliers

  • Inventory Management - Monitor current inventory levels and initiate orders as required to support business KPI’s. Review and action surplus inventory as required to meet targets

  • Maintain optimal replenishment level parameters based on supply chain objectives

  • Coordinate product transitions and provisioning of store floor models and stock

  • Expedite and follow-up on late ship purchase orders

  • Identify opportunities to improve product flow through the supply chain

  • Respond to inquiries regarding product availability

  • Maintain all relevant files and databases accurately

  • Manage all vendor maintenance duties for given categories

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years progressive inventory management, procurement and/or supply chain experience

  • Training in inventory, forecasting, purchasing and/or supply chain management an asset

  • Excellent facilitation and collaboration skills

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of Microsoft Excel

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable dealing with numbers; mathematically inclined

  • Creative problem solving skills

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing work environment
