The Brick Business Integration Analyst in Edmonton, Alberta

The Business Integration Analyst will manage the Blue Yonder forecasting system and lead initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy and reliability. Create and implement reporting solutions tailored to the needs of the department. Manage and troubleshoot department reporting to promote accuracy and efficiency. Reporting to theBusiness Integration Manager, this role will play a critical part in supporting the Purchasing and Inventory Management departments.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the generation of baseline/non-promotional sales forecasts through the Demand forecasting application. Provide analytical support to identify areas for improvement and promote forecast accuracy.

  • Support the Blue Yonder Demand forecasting solution. Work directly with Blue Yonder Consultants as required to resolve issues and implement solutions related to the Demand application.

  • Work with the data entry team to manage and oversee the upload process for promotional and baseline forecasts. Assist the buying team with the generation of promotional sales forecasts.

  • Troubleshoot and update current department reports. Identify and correct reporting errors. Ensure that reports are updated in a timely manner.

  • Work closely with Purchasing and Inventory Management managers and associates, along with other departments, to identify and develop custom reporting solutions. Test and develop ad hoc reporting to support the evolving needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or Computer Science.

  • Previous experience with Forecasting would be an asset.

  • Advanced PC skills in spreadsheet and relational database applications (Excel, MsAccess, VBA, SQL).

  • Self-starter, organized, logical thinker, methodical in approach.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and obligations to facilitate a smooth, organized workflow.

  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.

  • A minimum of 5 years recent experience in business and workflow analysis, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
