Agiliti Health Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst - Bloomington, MN in Edina, Minnesota
The Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst role provides an opportunity for to be positioned at the forefront of highly strategic acquisitions. Reporting to VP of Cor Dev, the M&A analyst will support company’s inorganic growth strategy - identifying M&A opportunities and development and execution of those transactions, including in-depth research, valuation analysis and due diligence.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Data support: Company and Financial Analysis:
Process the data and evaluate financial, corporate and operating information about potential acquisition targets, their fit within strategy, and summarize opportunities for management
Transaction models, revenue modeling and financial risk analysis of business opportunities
Detailed synergies analysis
Analyzing trends, including competitive, market, and business rationale
Pipeline tracking and development
Maintaining M&A opportunities database
Supporting team members on special projects (e.g., industry research and new business initiatives) related to developing inorganic growth strategies and facilitating long-term M&A goals
Managing dataroom and assisting each diligence member with materials gathering
Prepare diligence questions and manage follow up requests
Helping the team with meetings scheduling
Presentations and Documentation:
Assistance with memos and presentations for internal working teams, business analysis, investment thesis presentations, regular status updates, memos requesting permission to close, and executive and board presentations.
1-3 years of Investment banking, management consulting, corporate development and/or corporate finance
Comfortable with complex financial modelling and analyzing financial statements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Business
Effective multi-tasking capability and ability to thrive in a fast paced deadline driven environment
Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Strong oral, written and communication skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Demonstrated technical proficiency in business software skills, including Microsoft Excel, SmartSheets PowerPoint and Word applications
Strong analytical skills, including financial and accounting knowledge
Must be adaptable and able to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently
Detail-oriented with good time management and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently and independently with a high degree of accuracy
Self-motivated and proactive
