Agiliti Health Field Service Engineer - CT/MRI in Edina, Minnesota
Field Service Engineer, with specialization in MRI/ CT, and PET technologies, responsible for maintaining Agiliti Imaging customer high-end medical imaging equipment. This includes systems applications, Radiofrequency (RF) application systems and coils, quality control, calibration, operating system support, applications support, software support, technical support and troubleshooting.
FIELD SUPPORT (55%)
Troubleshooting on high-end medical imaging equipment, to include CT/MR/PET/NM Modalities.
Establishing and adhering to preventative maintenance schedules.
Maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely fashion.
Solving issues with medical imaging applications, biomedical instrumentation, electrical components, computer hardware, software, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Complying with Health and Human Services, Environment Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.
Performs tune-up, calibrations and quality assurance check for an entire MRI scanner (Permanent, Superconductive and Resistive magnets) and corresponding accessories (Radiofrequency coils and Imaging monitors) as per the ISO 13485 standards.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT (15%)
Electrical ultra-high-speed computer hardware and mechanical systems engineering support online and/or via telephone.
Communicating daily with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up leading to acceptable customer satisfaction levels.
Maintains system performance by performing system monitoring, analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting system hardware and software.
APPLICATIONS SUPPORT (10%)
End-user training and follow up on the latest, state of the art MRI and CT technologies; including Imaging protocols, pulse sequences, complex RF coil useage.
Regular interaction with radiologists, technicians, physicists and other medical professionals to keep abreast of new and existing imaging solutions, issues and trends.
SOFTWARE SUPPORT (10%)
Continuous uptime support for applications software issues associated with the various modalities, to include Syngo, Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) viewing, filming, archiving, networking, and database administration.
Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs, providing software support and reference.
Online and telephone support for Windows, Linux, Mac OS issues in MRI systems.
SPECIAL PROJECTS (10%)
MRI System applications (Syngo, Numaris) and DICOM Software.
Radiofrequency (RF) application system, coils, and Gradient Systems.
Magnet supervision, monitoring and communication control.
Operating system level special projects (Event log, reports, Information systems, database).
Perform corrective action due to Physicist Inspection.
Performance of Technical Bulletin / FDA Recall, as necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical engineering or equivalent.
7-15 years high-end CT/MR experience to include Image Quality Training (OEM Preferred).
Experience with servicing and troubleshooting MRI and CT systems. Including, but not limited to; Cryogen filling and Magnet Shimming.
Familiar with Siemens, GE and Phillips systems.
