Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating daily with team members to effectively communicate and prioritize ongoing issues and customer requests.

  • Managing production scheduling, file movement, electronic file transmission configuration, project creation, and providing general support for a grid-based SAS/LINUX environment.

  • Defining and testing connections for both internal and external (Cloud) data sources as per customer requirements.

  • Monitoring and maintaining customer disk utilization, allocating additional disk space when necessary.

  • Monitoring, analyzing, and providing support for code execution to ensure platform stability and optimal utilization of CPU and Memory.

  • Assisting in the creation and support of LINUX scripts for performance and platform stability analysis.

  • Supporting ICFR/SOC audit requirements and fulfilling related requests.

  • Escalating any issues that may impact the budget, timeline, or strategic vision to leadership.

  • Development of expert documentation

  • Management of SAS 9.x and Viya Administration

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in SAS coding and platform administration

  • 3+ years of expertise in data connection techniques and implementation

  • 2+ years of experience in communicating and engaging with customers and leadership

  • 2+ years of team collaboration

  • 2+ years of creating professional documentation

  • 2+ years of developing proficient policies and best practices documentation

  • 2+ years of experience in LINUX O/S, including security implementation and scripting

  • 2+ years of working with networking concepts and practices

Preferred Qualification:

  • Undergraduate degree or 4+ years equivalent experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
