Primary Responsibilities:
Intake Management Activities:
Support the Vendor Contracting & Management team’s Intake Process including:
Manage the intake and triage of contract/vendor support requests
Maintain accurate and complete tracking of requests from intake to completion via Smartsheets including possessing a working level knowledge of the status and next steps of each request
Develop and maintain various Smartsheets dashboards and reporting
Host and lead monthly request pipeline call with internal stakeholders to provide status/next steps
Monitor and maintain adherence to required timelines and SLAs
Supplier Security and Risk Assessment Activities:
Represent the Vendor Contracting & Management team on all third-party supplier security risk assessment and remediation activities including:
Research, understand and analyze information security risks applicable to a supplier
Participate in discovery call with Optum Tech/Security risk teams
Coordinate required evidences and supporting documentation from the supplier
Communicate identified security gaps, provided recommendations, and document/monitor/track progress until resolution
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and management for any process deviations, delays or escalations

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Project Management experience and/or intake management using project management tools
2+ years of experience using Smartsheet including developing datasheets, dashboards and reports
2+ years of Third Party / Supplier Risk Management experience
1+ years of experience with various compliance frameworks and regulations like HITRUST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, PCI DSS, NIST, Multi-Factor and Role Based Authentication, etc.
Experience in highly matrixed organizations or large cross functional teams
Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with team members, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Proven highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively prioritize tasks
Proven solid communication (listening, verbal, written) skills
Proven solid presentation skills with the ability to facilitate working sessions with large, cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Formal Project Management training
Experience/knowledge and understanding of Endpoint Protection, Network Security, Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Business Continuity, Risk Management, and Data Protection (e.g. Encryption)
Experience working with contracts and/or clinical suppliers
Healthcare experience including UHG, Optum, Medicare Advantage services

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
