Coordinates activities across all departments to implement continuous improvements and team member skills development. Position reports to the Human Resources Manager (w/dotted line to the CI Manager) with one indirect report.&br&&br&&b&Job Description&/b&&br&&ul&&li&Focused Improvement Leader&ul&&li&Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Utilize CI methods to implement projects and measure their operational and financial impact.&/li&&li&Conduct process evaluation to identify opportunities for improvement.&/li&&li&Provide data analysis to support CI projects, capital improvements and business opportunities.&/li&&li&Identify and help development of new product opportunities.&/li&&li&Conduct CI audits and evaluate effectiveness of sustained implementation of CI efforts.&/li&&li&Lead diverse groups of employees to implement CI projects&/li&&/ul&&/li&&li&Continuous Skill Development (CSD). AF site CSD leader.&ul&&li&Work with departments to develop annual employee training plans. This should include: technical skills, product or process specific training and leadership development opportunities.&/li&&li&Coordinate site training activities throughout the year. This includes presenting training topics and new hire onboarding training topics&/li&&li&Oversee Personal Qualification Requirement development, use, update, and relevancy.&/li&&li&Work with HR, Safety and departmental leadership to coordinate and deliver new employee orientation to be timely and effective.&/li&&li&Site expert on Alchemy training program use, development, tracking and deployment.&/li&&/ul&&/li&&li&Perform other duties and execute projects as directed by the HR Manager and Plant Manager to improve the American Falls potato processing operation.&/li&&/ul&&b&Skills & Experience&/b&&br&&ul&&li&Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; &b&OR&/b& an Associate Degree w/ at least two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.&/li&&li&Minimum 1-5 years of manufacturing experience&/li&&li&Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Exceptional MS Excel skills with ability to collect, summarize and analyze data.&/li&&li&Enjoys being in plants and close to operations&/li&&li&Good project management skills&/li&&li&Experience in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint&/li&&li&Presentation and Training skills experience&/li&&/ul&&br&&b&Job Qualifications&/b&
