About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Technician to join Zabeel House by Jumeirah the Greens. The main purpose of the role is to carry out the skilled maintenance and repairs and to be responsible for the equipment in kitchen area.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
To carry out repairs, maintenance, construction works as directed
To complete work orders, PPMs, CWAs as directed
To select correct materials from Engineering stores
To organize work in skilled and professional manner
To advise supervisor colleagues promptly of any problems on failures
To ensure safe working conditions for yourself and colleagues and report to Senior colleagues of any unsafe working conditions
To ensure that work areas are left in a safe and tidy condition
Read and understand basic drawings
Request support and direction as needed
Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes and procedures
To perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require
Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Essential:
1.
1 year formal training (certified) in Air conditioning, electrical
Minimum of 2 Years in a similar position in Hospitality
Experience in computer based planned preventative systems
Good communication skills
Good verbal and written English
Team player
Cheerful and friendly
Flexible with guest requests
Health and Safety knowledge
Good problem solving and follow up abilities
