About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Specialist in Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Job Purpose:

To provide both Guests and Colleagues with the best possible IT Support within the assigned functional area (Helpdesk Operations/Networks).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level IT support to colleagues and guests within agreed SLAs.

  • Respond to guest queries in a friendly and efficient manner.

  • Monitor the performance of Networks, Servers, Workstations, and peripherals and report any abnormalities to the IT Manager.

  • Maintain updated IT knowledge to ensure continuous improvement in services offered.

  • Assist in projects as allocated by the IT Manager or Director of IT.

  • Maximize the use of hardware and software by training users and answering their questions.

  • Maintain historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions.

  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential.

Required experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in an IT-related role, preferably in hospitality.

  • Basic networking skills and knowledge of server hardware and software.

Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
