Pearson Regional Development Manager Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven  Sales Lead   to spearhead our vocational education initiatives in Middle East and allied markets. This role will focus on driving sales growth, building strategic partnerships, and enhancing our market presence in the vocational education sector.

As member of the Enterprise Learning & Skills (ELS) VQ Sales Team, the RDM will work collaboratively as appropriate with colleagues to build business in line with customer needs. You will provide expert professional guidance and support to your customers.

This role is to cover the area of Middle East, North Africa and Turkey and other markets as appropriate and set out by the leader.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

Lead on the annual and LRP strategy for growth

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the vocational education market.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

Stakeholder Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, government bodies, and industry partners.

Liaise and build relevant regulatory and other recognition within the territory.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and customer needs.

Commercial Tasks:

Deliver accurate and timely financial forecasts, and commercial performance reporting

Lead negotiations and close deals with educational institutions and corporate clients.

Prepare and present sales proposals, ensuring they meet the specific needs of clients.

Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess their needs.

Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Leadership:

Deliver a culture of high performance and accountability.

Experience:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the education sector.

Strong understanding of vocational education and training systems

Proven track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. 

Valid driver's license and access to a car as travel will be required.
