About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an F&B Outlet Manager to join Burj Al Arab Jumeirah .The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Organise and supervise the day-to-day operations of the F&B Outlet and ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner (which is consistent with operating policies and procedures and delivers service excellence).
Ensures team maintains a consistent cleaning regime. Record stock levels and comply with stock audit requirements.
Manage the implementation of F&B standards in the outlet ensuring that staff take corrective actions as necessary in adherence to Jumeirah Group’s policies and standards.
Monitor the profitability of the outlet. Identify areas and gaps for continuous improvements, provide recommendations and/or solutions to improve them and assist with implementing such corrective measures. Take initiatives to sustain them.
Consistently monitor the quality of food and beverages and service offered to guests and escalating any major problems/ complaints to senior management to ensure high service quality as per Jumeirah group quality standards.
Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity so that Jumeirah group provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures. Provide instructions and guidance to subordinates where necessary. Monitor Colleague’s adherence to relevant policies and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other Colleagues.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant field preferably within the international luxury hospitality industry; 1 years of which in managerial position.
Computer literacy with an acceptable experience in using F&B application.
Proficient in English – Level 3 as Minimum (Read/Write/Speak – Essential)
An additional language would be an advantage.
